Stamped steel starter motor brace for a wide variety of 1970-84 Chevrolet and GMC car and truck models with 168 tooth starter. Over a period of years, the starter motor brace can be lost or discarded when the starter is replaced. Without this brace, undue strain will occur to the starter motor body causing wear or damage. When this happens you will need to replace the starter. This front support brace will protect your 168 tooth starter from premature wear or damage.
