STANDARDThis is a NEW re-engineered replacement shifter that is a direct upgraded replacement for the OEM shifter. It will fit the floor exactly like the original even using the original rubber dust boot. Plus, while it has the look and fit of the factory shifter, it has functionality for modern transmissions. The shifter is set up for both the 3-speed TH350, TH400 or the GM 4-speed overdrive transmissions like the TH200-4R, TH700-R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, and even the 6L80E / 6L90E 6-speed GM automatics.
The shifter has factory-like reverse lockout and detents for each gear. It is not designed for use as a racing shifter. It functions exactly like a 60's era factory shifter. It comes with a fully functional neutral safety and back-up light switch installed.
