Limited Edition Giclee Prints
Giclee is a new form of image reproduction that uses a high quality ink-jet printer. Because each print is individually more expensive to produce, the retail price is slightly higher and the editions are smaller at 200. Signed and numbered by Dana Forrester.
"Details '63" was a very unique concept for Dana to paint. Last June at Bloomington Gold's swap meet, He bought an aluminum finned Valve Cover as an item to hang on the studio wall because he's always been fascinated with its design. But after he returned home with it, he decided he should find a way to use it in a painting. Since the "Splits" painting celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Corvettes 1963 model, he decided to focus on a '63 Fuel Injected Valve Cover, a new Corvette owner's lapel pin, a crossed flags, and Fuel Injected badge, and the rear deck Corvette badge. It truly is a tribute to the 1963 Corvette.
