Spark plug wires have two main objectives; transfer the spark energy and suppress the Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) that exists with high energy ignition systems. Too high of resistance decreases the spark energy, yet too low of resistance will not suppress electronic noise which will interfere with other sensitive electronics on the vehicle. The MSD Super Conductor wire utilizes technology that provides the lowest resistance available in a suppression style spark plug wire. With this design, EMI is held inside the wire while more spark energy reaches the plugs.
