Due to the aging of the C5 Corvettes, the minute you remove the glove box, the plastic reinforcement that holds the assembly into place falls apart, leaving no way to bolt the glove box back into position. This kit provides two precisely cut aluminum reinforcements that match the shapes and attachment points of the original plastic reinforcement. All you have to do is use the included epoxy, glue it over whatever plastic remains to create a new, sturdy bolting surface that will yield a lasting repair. And it's far less costly than buying a used glove box assembly.
