Eliminates the factory pull clutch system for unlimited upgradability!
RAM clutches proudly introduces a system to replace the limited capability pull style clutch/dual mass flywheel system in C4 Corvettes. The RAM system consists of aluminum flywheel, Hi-Clamp pressure plate with 2800-pound clamp load, and a clutch disc. An internal hydraulic bearing replaces the factory release mechanism to complete the install. This system is capable of up to 700 horsepower holding capacity!
Note: Eliminating the dual mass flywheel and using the semi-rigid hub in the RAM disc will cause some gear rattle in the driveline under light load.
