The factory toe rod assembly is inadequate for C4's used in serious autocross, track time, or drag racing events. The stock toe rods deflect and allow untimely and unwanted toe changes. The result is the rear tires can cause wandering, increased E.T.'s, and cause the lack of a positive sense of stability when drag racing. In autocross or track time driving, the toe change will upset the cars' ability to corner and reduce the driver's confidense while cornering; resulting in slower lap times.
