transmission.
*Cast-in cooling fins
*Stiff aluminum construction with a .160" thick wall adds strength to the transmission case
*Thick-machined .350" gasket flange provides uniform clamping force on the gasket, for a no-leak, secure seal (stock covers are .035" stamped steel stock cover)
*Magnetic drain plug allows oil changes without removing the pan
*Available in 2 finishes: as cast part # 533092, or black powder coated
*Holds 4 quarts over stock for cooler oil temperatures.
NOTE: Some Corvette transmissions will require a modification to the 700-R4 shift cable bracket.
NOTE: These are sand cast parts and there will be some porosity.
