This is the main wiring that goes from the distributor to the T.I. amplifier box. It includes the resistance wire and the T.I. Conversion Kit.
The conversion kit is necessary to convert one of our new engine harnesses to accept this T.I. harness. If your car already has an engine harness that was factory-converted to accept the T.I. harnessss, and your harness has not been modified or repaired since, then you won't need to use the conversion kit. The conversion kit canbe discarded or saved for possible future use. (It is up to you, or your mechanic, to determine if your harness has been previously modified or repaired.)
NOTE: Transistorized ignition is a very specialized performance optionthat works well, when it works. When it doesn't, it can be very frustrating.
