There are a lot of benefits to coilovers: the ease of spring swapping and ride height adjustment, also spring and shock tuning allows you to set up the suspension to suit your car much better than with any other system. Then there's the benefit of the shocks being rebuild-able, re-valve-able, and generally much higher quality than OE shocks. Furthermore, the coilovers give absolute true independence and allow you to fine tune the rear suspension much closer. With a turn of a knob you can make the shock stiffer for track days and soften them to hit the street for ride comfort.
NOTE: 1963-64 Cars need to convert to disc brakes. Will not work with drum brakes.
