This meter uses a rubber hose to make the connection between the meter and the gas line coming from the frame.

This 1961-1962 C1 Corvette fuel meter (sender) has a range of 0 - 14 Ohms. This fuel gauge is like an OHM meter in that it measures electrical resistance, the higher the resistance, the higher the needle goes. When the float is "down" resistance as measured with an ohm meter, is near 0. With the float "up" resistance is about 14 Ohms
Electrical components such as sending units are non-returnable parts.
