Thermostats can become stuck in the closed position and cause an engine to overheat. In this event, the coolant temperature will likely rise quickly to the boiling point as determined by the system pressure cap and exhaust to the ground.
Our low-temp thermostats dramatically reduce operating temperature while increasing thermal efficiency and your engine's performance. This new thermostat replaces the factory unit, allowing coolant to circulate at lower engine temperatures, keeping the engine cooler. Not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles.
