After simple installation, your courtesy lamp will remain on for a user-adjustable amount of time (0-60 seconds) or until the ignition switch is turned on or to accessory. The courtesy lights will gradually fade to dark at the end of the delay.

Be sure you are replacing the correct part. Always refer to factory service manuals when diagnosing electrical service problems. You can damage these parts if you do not follow the proper procedures. Electrical components are non-returnable parts.
