Knock Sensor:
Detects cylinder block vibrations caused by engine knock and sends a signal to the computer to retard ignition timing.
Failure Symptoms:
Engine knock, loss of power, malfunction indicator lamp in on.
Electrical components such as sensors are non-returnable parts.
