What is CAGS (Computer Aided Gear Selection)?
It uses a solenoid in the transmission to force the first-to-fourth shift when you're calmly putting along at around 35% throttle or less and are between 15-21mph. Your engine's coolant temperature has to be greater than 171 degrees Fahrenheit for the system to kick in. These numbers vary by vehicle, so check your owner's manual for more accurate information.
